Ordering

Are light bulbs included with your light fittings?

Due to government legislation, most light fittings don’t come with light bulbs anymore to encourage the use of LED energy efficient lighting. These are generally available in Warm White (a warm relaxed tone, similar to the colour of a standard light bulb) or Cool White (a cleaner, brighter white colour).

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, we change our minds too! While we wish could, once an order is placed, we are unable to alter or cancel it at this stage and the item will be shipped to you. We hope to have a cancellation window one day in the future.

Do you offer blue light discount?

No, we price our products to offer excellent value for money each and every day, with that in mind we don't have any additional "wiggle room" to offer a further discount on top of our already favorable pricing.

Can you dim LED light bulbs?

Most LED light bulbs can be purchased as Dimmable or Non-Dimmable, if you use a dimmable LED bulb these can be dimmed using an LED dimmer. You can of course purchase dimmable LED bulbs and just switch them on / off as well. We only sell dimmable bulbs on our website so you have the best of both worlds and can dim or simply switch on / off if you require.

Do you offer a guarantee?

Yes, all of our electrical lights come with a minimum 1-year electrical guarantee unless a larger guarantee is stated.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Paying for your order could not be easier. We accept Klarna, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, and all major debit and credit cards (without extra charges incurred), including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Maestro. Payment can also be made by BACS and in cash in store. We also offer payment slicing with PayPal, and Klarna Pay in 30 days, as well as PayPal Pay in 3 Instalments. 

How do I know your site is secure?

Our entire site is secure by way of 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, which is the Industry Standard for safe online shopping. The small 'padlock icon' to the left of the URL bar at the top of the page confirms the security of our site. In addition, your personal data is totally protected and we never store credit card details. 

What if I find the product cheaper elsewhere?

Our team of buyers are constantly priced checking our products as we pride ourselves on offering quality products at very competitive prices. If you have a query on the price of our products before the point of purchase, please don't hesitate to fill out our Price Match form or call our customer services team on 0191 440 1111 Option 1. We price match all lighting products with websites that have a showroom before the point of purchase.

We, however, reserve the right to:

  • refuse a price match which would result in financial loss or unacceptable profit margins
  • to limit the quantities of price matches from a single customer
  • not match trade prices
  • we may discontinue our price match promise at any time
  • we may decline a price match without any explanation
  • not price match imitation or copies of products that often use cheaper materials and lack in quality
  • not match prices from third party, or auction sites such as eBay
Do you offer discount to trade customers?

Yes. If you qualify as a trade professional within the industry, we can discuss a trade discount with you. The percentage is product and brand dependent. Some products are already reduced, on sale or have been priced dropped we are unable to offer a further discount on.

What size should I buy?

If you’re not quite sure which size is right for you, refer to our size guides. They’re located underneath the available sizes for each of our products.

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order.

Once your order is fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Do you ship overseas?

We currently do not ship outside of the UK, however you are able to collect from our warehouse(s) using your own courier.

Cp Lighting & Interiors are not liable for any damages once the product(s) leave our warehouse or for any shipping, import, export or customers charges that are applied by ports or governments. We strongly recommend adding insurance and tracking to all courier collections for your own peace of mind.

We recommend you seek advise from your local courier regarding any / all imports. We are not liable for any import / export charges.

Are your cushions & bed runners returnable?

Our Bespoke & Made To Order cushions and bed runners are strictly non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once your order has been placed with us. 

Our Decorum Interiors and Luxe Casa luxury cushions & runners are all specially handmade to order for you and are on a 15-20 working day lead time. We ensure the highest level of quality goes into all of our made to order & bespoke cushions, and for this reason we don't like to rush the production. 

No returns, cancellations or exchanges are offered on all made to order & bespoke products once ordered. Please see our Returns Information page for more details.

What if my delivery arrives damaged?

In the unfortunate event that your purchase(s) are damaged in transit, please firstly refuse to sign for the item and send it back if it is visibly damaged before accepting delivery. If it is only noticeable once opened, please fill out our Report a Fault form and attach photographic evidence within 48 hours. We will then arrange collection and a replacement product or parts with you.

Damages & missing parts must be reported within 48 of receipt of delivery.

Can I view your products in person / Do you have a retail showroom?

We have a gorgeous showroom based on Team Valley, Gateshead. Click here for our address & opening hours.

Please note: Our showroom does not display everything on our website. If there is a specific product you are travelling to see, Ppease contact our showroom on (0191) 440 1111 Option 1 to confirm that we display the item before making your journey.

Is there parking available?

Yes, we have plenty of free on site parking available. There are also electric vehicle charging points.

Can I collect from your showroom?

Yes, you can collect your order from our showroom. This option will be available at checkout, where you’ll also see the lead time, which is confirmed again in your order confirmation email. We’ll notify you by email as soon as your order is ready for collection. Please remember to check our showroom opening hours before you travel.

Do you have stock at your showroom to take away on the day?

Yes, we hold stock of our popular products at our showroom but most of our stock is held in our warehouses.
